about

We are the 99%. You, me, him, her. All of us. We've been pushed around and have been force fed their ideals our entire life. Did they think they could continue to push us? Did they think we would just roll over and say "Okay, I guess this is just the way things are"? This is our opportunity to shape the future we want to shape. This is our opportunity to live in the world that we want to live in. Turn off the TV, tune out the distractions, encourage a friend, help a neighbor, do something nice for a stranger, come together and stop being divided. Whatever you believe, is okay. You are accepted no matter what. Because we are the 99%, and we're all in this together.
-- OccupyWallStreet+Young Circles = One

Every cent donated in buying this track will go to our brothers, sisters, friends & family involved in the Wall Street Protests in New York City.

"In Solidarity, and as a response to this call, a planning group was formed [occupywallst.org], and an info sharing site established. The participation of every person, and every organization, that has an interest in returning the US back into the hands of it's individual citizens is required.

Our nation, our species and our world are in crisis. The US has an important role to play in the solution, but we can no longer afford to let corporate greed and corrupt politics set the policies of our nation.

We, the people of the United States of America, considering the crisis at hand, now reassert our sovereign control of our land.

Solidarity Forever!"

about

"Young Circles is shatterproof. This is garage rock that’s into UK garage; heady space-rock that’s just into space, period; ... more this is the psychotic sound of a lounge singer violently overcome by ropey spumes of noise. Obviously, you gotta love exactly all of it. Young Circles is definitely a band to watch." -- CokeMachineGlow less

Track Name: NINETY-NINE PERCENT
May 1968: All the frogs came out to play
Your matchbox might spread some wealth
Cuz their pockets don't light themselves

June 1963: Color becomes philosophy
Their driveway might be paved in gold
It ain't worth too much when our cash gets sold

Uh oh, oh no, I'm on fire

Waking up, I think we're waking up
Please don't go back to sleep, your hundred and eighteenth dream

December 2012: They're hoping we'll just off ourselves
Our atoms have burned the sky
Black envelope filled with fireflies

Uh oh, oh no, we're on fire

Everyone, I think we've had enough
Please don't go back to sleep, your hundred and eighteenth dream
Waking up, I think we're waking up
They made us feel safe and sound
They're throat-slashing-prices down
Honestly, I'm sick of the modesty
You fascists ain't scaring me
I'd like to see you try and make us leave
Waking up, I think we're waking up
Please don't go back to sleep, your hundred and eighteenth dream
